It is important to note that these last three paintings in my acrylic series were completed with oil paint. Throughout this journey, I’ve not only honed in on my painting style. But I’ve also decided that I prefer to work with oils over acrylic paints.

Each one of these river paintings (Rapids 3, Rapids 2, and Rapids 1) will be submitted for consideration into the LibertyTown Arts November 2022 show “6x6x6.” I wanted to great three images that could each stand alone as beautiful works of art, but that when combined created a completed scene. All three paintings are displayed below so that you could see what they look like side by side.
